1/4 cup butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 TBSP flour
1 - 10 oz can Ro-tel tomatoes with green chilies
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
2 TBSP pickled jalapeños, chopped
Sauté onion in butter over medium-low heat until tender. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and stir. Add cheese and jalapeños. Cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Keep warm in a small crock pot or on the stove in a small saucepan.
Carne Con Queso
1/2 lb hot pork sausage
1/2 lb ground beef
Brown meat in a skillet. Drain fat. Prepare the above recipe and add browned meat. Keep warm in a crock pot or on the stove in a small saucepan.
