Aunt Bette's Crab Dip







Thank you Aunt Bette for sending me this great crab dip recipe. Our entire family loves steamed, blue crabs and we usually have plenty of leftovers and this will be a great use of our leftover crab. David's family is from Maryland and the crab feast is something he introduced me to and is one of our seafood favorites. I promise to add our steamed crab recipe soon.

Bette brought this appetizer for Easter and it was smooth, rich and delicious. We appreciate the contribution, Bette. It's always fun spending time with you!

CRAB DIP

12 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 lb. crab (I used two 6-oz. cans of real crab)
3 T. finely chopped onion
Garlic salt
Paprika and dill on top

Bake at 350 for 30-45 min. uncovered. Serve warm with Triscuits or toasted french bread rounds.
