Thank you Aunt Bette for sending me this great crab dip recipe. Our entire family loves steamed, blue crabs and we usually have plenty of leftovers and this will be a great use of our leftover crab. David's family is from Maryland and the crab feast is something he introduced me to and is one of our seafood favorites. I promise to add our steamed crab recipe soon.Bette brought this appetizer for Easter and it was smooth, rich and delicious. We appreciate the contribution, Bette. 12 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 lb. crab (I used two 6-oz. cans of real crab)
3 T. finely chopped onion
Garlic salt
Paprika and dill on top
Bake at 350 for 30-45 min. uncovered. Serve warm with Triscuits or toasted french bread rounds.
