Welcome to my blog. It's my sincere hope this will inspire others to get in their kitchens and cook up some scrumptious dishes with their loved ones. In writing this, my husband and I wanted to share our love for food and everything that goes into cooking it, deciding what to eat, shopping for the ingredients, cooking it together and ultimately enjoying the fruits of our labor. We're from Dallas and our city has a treasure trove of places you can go buy the freshest ingredients possible, while responsibly contributing to the local growers and purveyors of fresh meats, cheeses and vegetables. Not only do you get the freshest ingredients in town but, you get to meet the people who are responsible for bringing those fresh ingredients to your plate; the farmers, the sellers, the makers and sometimes just the enthusiasts that make it so fun. By buying locally you make a meal experience a real experience. So, please enjoy this blog with the love in which it’s intended and venture out, buy locally and savor some of the fantastic food that’s all around us. I look forward to sharing many culinary experiences with you. Cheers!
